SPEAKING & RETREATS

Bring the Work to Your Men

Retreats, conferences, and workshops on personal development, virtue, masculine formation, and the spiritual life (for Orthodox communities and broader Christian audiences).

For Organizers

What Fr. Michael Brings

If you're organizing a men's retreat, a parish conference, or a weekend workshop, you're trying to do something that most programs get wrong: give men something real to work with, not just content to consume. That's what Fr. Michael's retreats are built for.

The material draws on the patristic tradition, classical virtue ethics, and Robert Moore's account of masculine psychology, sources that complement each other in ways that aren't obvious until you see them together. The format is interactive: presentations, small group exercises, and structured discussion that lets men do the work rather than watch it being done.

Fr. Michael has spoken at parish men's retreats, business and men's health conferences, mastermind groups, and one-day seminars. He brings his own handout materials. He is comfortable with Orthodox-specific audiences and with broader Christian or secular men's development audiences.

Podcast Interviews

Past interviews on men's formation, virtue, Orthodox spirituality, and masculine development.

Available for Podcast Interviews

If you host a podcast on men’s development, faith, fitness, or masculinity and are looking for a guest who brings both depth and directness, reach out. I’m comfortable on microphone, I come with material, and I won’t waste your listeners’ time.

I want to thank you for returning to St. Seraphim's for the retreat this weekend. I have had several conversations with other men at my parish about your talks and it has inspired a lot more thoughts and plans for each of us, individually and as a community. I am in need of help and I was moved by your talk this weekend.
